Mad Riders sets you against 11 opponents all battling it out to be number one.
Bringing some variety to what could become a dull and repetitive experience, Mad Riders brings standard lap racing, stunt mode, time attack and Arena (which is basically a checkpoint race)
Throughout your single player career you will earn stars depending on how well you do in each race.Come first and you will receive 3 stars but if you come third you will only receive 1.You need stars in order to unlock new events and vehicles as ell as the ability to customize your vehicle and rider.
During a race you can collect red tokens which enable you to save up boost, perform tricks to gain boost and also collect blue tokens that allow you to unlock shortcuts during the event. These abilities have become the norm in racing game now but they still fit in very well.
Mad Riders allows you play online with a total of 12 players all fighting for the win. It’s been a while since we’ve seen such large numbers on an online arcade game and to be honest it is welcomed greatly and quite fun. From what I have played the was no problems from lag etc and overall I had fun.
The problem with Mad Riders is the speed of the game and the speed at which MP games start……The game is very fast and at times quite hard to to navigate due to sudden arrows on a corner. This does get frustrating but still, you will get used to it if you choose to.
MP games start pretty much as soon as there are 2 or 3 players. This annoys me a little because it makes me feel as if the developers done this so that there will never be 12 people during any one game and therefore sneakily get away from possible lag issues.
Overall, Mad Riders is pretty fun but for the same price you could now pick up PURE.Mad Riders has its pro's and Con's like most games but it depends on you as to whether the Pro's weigh out the Con's.
